Loveland cut $ 90000 from budget

Trial set for dead Lion theft attempt

ZANESVILLE trial set for January 6 for four people accused of trying to steal the lion's death in October.

man Joseph Jakubisin, 21, of Cambridge; Brian Matthews, 21, of Kimbolton; Richard Wedlich, 20, of Cambridge; and Cody Wilson, 21, had a hearing Monday in Byesville Muskingum County Court. Each faces up to six months in jail and a $ 1,000 fine.

A teenager was also charged in the case of the Muskingum County Court. His name was not released.

Man accused of traveling to Zanesville on October 18 and tries to steal the lion who shot by Deputy Muskingum County Sheriff's Office. The use of animals for testing new drugs and medical applications are allowed in the us but must comply with the provisions of the federal Animal Welfare ACT Health and safety.
