About Spirit Lake Recovery
Mission Statement
The mission of Spirit Lake Recovery is to use a faith based, Christ centered environment to facilitate a lifelong change in clients utilizing comprehensive individual and group treatment to free them from chemical and process dependencies.
Our Vision
The vision of Spirit Lake Recovery is to extend excellent, evidence based, multimodality, state of the art treatment for chemical or process dependencies to adult males. As an organization, we seek to continuously enhance and diversify the education of ourselves, and others on issues of ethical, evidence based treatment of diseases of dependency and their co-occurring maladies. This commitment is intended to foster, but not be limited to, concerted relationships with research, educational or other institutions seeking training or a research environment.
Dedication to Excellence
Our dedication to excellence of care begins with potential residents and may include professional medical detoxification moving toward residential therapy. Our treatment approach utilizes group and individual psychotherapy, twelve steps facilitation and our innovative equine assisted psychotherapy by our certified staff to help clients become fully engaged with the world cognitively, emotionally, spiritually, physically, and relationally. Excellence in care extends beyond treatment on-site to after care and alumni activities to promote lifelong wellness in our clients and their families. We promote a successful transition for our clients back into their community, family, church and work environments and to self-efficacy.
