Edmonton pet owner will no longer receive new free first year license for spayed or neutered dogs and cats after officials decided to cancel the program in 2012.
"The first year of free Program seems to have only a few managed to generate a new license," said a report to the community services committee Monday.
After the free year ended, only half of pet owners updated their licence on time in 2010.
Many people do not buy a license because they did not see value in having them after the incentive expires, the report said.
"My understanding is no taking of many on the incentives," the country. Amarjeet Sohi said Sunday.
