Adopt-a-thon also includes pet caroling walk in which participants make $ 5 donations to run its own pet or pets from shelters about Ivins to help spread the Christmas spirit.
The event was supported by Ivins friends animal shelter, which has been held to enable the entire month to help the animals of the shelter get adopted or fostered into a loving home.
Residents can also get involved by sponsoring pets in shelters. Sponsor pets including providing funds to pay for medical procedures and food animals may need.
"We hope the adopt-a-thon we get pets adopted as many times as possible," said Linda Elwell, President of Ivins friends animal shelter. "We want to have a shelter which is empty for Christmas morning."
