A Cobb County credits his dog to save his life from the fire House last night that the dog did not survive.
Scott Dunn to CBS affiliate WGCL that she had fallen asleep on the couch with her dog Duncan in space near Marietta.
"And the next thing I know he ngais me, barking and scratching, and I woke up and I couldn't see anything," Dunn told WGCL because he was trying to restrain the tears. "The smoke is the distance from the floor."
Scott, who remodels houses for a living, could hardly breathe. He won the Duncan by the collar and when he opened the door "flame just go everywhere."
He received the keys to his truck ("because that is my livelihood"), but then he realized Duncan's collar came loose. "I've got my hands on the collar," he said.
