Sayreville pet adoption Center (SPAC), one of the area's several no-kill animal Shelter, is in danger of permanently closing the door, the Director of SPAC Barbara Keegan said.

If additional funds are not found, and if large numbers of animals are not adopted within a short time, the shelters are in danger of closing the door, the Director said.
Flapjack Fundraiser to benefit the facility's financial difficulties are scheduled from 9 to 11 a.m. on 7 January in the Applebee's restaurant, 324 Ryders Lane, Milltown. Tickets are $ 15 each.
